One of my more recent images, "Freyja's Fest", has won a "Merit Award" at the 2014 Iowa State Fair! This is the highest award I've received so far for my work. I am very pleased with the result and hopefully will be ranked higher next year.

After not doing anything art related for almost 4 years, sad to say, I've come back with the support of my family and friends. Actually, it was an episode of Dr Who that inspired me to feel the passion of art again. Season 5, Episode 10 "Vincent and the Doctor".

So I haven't been to the drawing board in a long time and I plan to get some works done next month for the Iowa State Fair. Hopefully I'll get in again.

I'm avalible for comission work as well as looking for models...

After spending a few weeks looking at my table collect dust, I'm beginning to feel the creative juices flowing again or at least try to. The holidays are coming up and it's going to get a little more hectic. Also, I need to work on a submission to a local contest to see if I can win or get someone interested in my work in my area. Must... try... and... pick... up... pencil...

Captain's Log Stardate: 10923.3

Well, I decided to activate my account for good measure. Hopefully, people will be seeing my artworks and enjoying them. I am a little concerned about my babies being out in the internet world and if they get taken from me and used elsewhere in ways I don't approve, then I might close this account. I'm also thinking about upgrading my account, but I don't have a lot of completed works to post at the moment. So, just enjoy theses few works and there should be more coming up in the next few months and in 2010.
